Name: Chiquis (Spanish for Teensy)
Nicknames: Mirruña (Spanish for Tidbit), Enana (Spanish for dwarf or elf), Babydog, Partygirl
Breed: Chihuahua
Born: 2/6/08
Likes: Parties; hotels; cheese; walks and runs in the park; playing with puppies; retrieving balls thrown down the hallway; chasing squirrels, cats, raccoons; shredding Kleenex; the back window of the car in the sun; and, of course, flyball!
Dislikes: Wearing clothes when not really needed, nail clipping, overly exuberant children.
Bio: Chiquis came into her Papás’ home at 2 lbs, fitting inside the palm of one hand, but at 9 lbs. she turned out to be larger than the 6 lb AKC standard for a Chihuahua. She politely waits for people to answer the door unless friends come in without waiting for Papá. Not your “typical yappy” Chihuahua (unless you ask Aunt Diane at the cabin on the Metolius where lots of strangers walk in front of the cabin along the river). When she’s not sleeping she is always ready to play.
Don't let her tiny size and keen fashion sense fool you - this little gal can fly!
