Chasing squirrels, chewing bones, playing with dog friends, swimming, snuggling, chasing mom on her bike, hiking, playing with kids, carrying around shoes, chasing laser lights, dismembering stuffed animals. Dislikes: Waiting patiently for her turn to play flyball, vacuum cleaners, being kicked off the sofa, being kicked off the bed, being removed from a warm lap, not being petted by everyone around her!   Bio: Irie had a bit of a rough start as stray mother of a newly born litter of pups.  She was picked up by animal control and taken to her local shelter where she was adopted by her new mom at the age of  eight months.  Despite her rough start, Irie has proven to be a wonderful companion to her mom and the other pets that she now shares her home with.  Irie loves being a good advocate for the Pit Bull breed, showing that with proper handling, love, socialization, training and most importantly lots of exercise that these dogs can make  great companions to the appropriate people.
